Our #NYFW started off with a bang! at Jeff Wan’s SS20 & FW20 Press Preview event that took place at the Arlo Soho Hotel last week.

Despite the rainy weather, we welcomed content creators to a beautiful table-top sunflower field, with a colorful spread of quality leather products, ranging from brand signatures like the award-winning Le Morne Lunchbox to the latest Hillside Collection. The spotlight, however, was placed on the smaller version of the lunchbox bags displayed in a rainbow formation.

Influencers were able to get the first glimpse of the upcoming Hillside collection, which is launching on March 1st. This new line featuring a signature laser cut leather will be available in four shades: light brown, white, dark blue and dark brown. Meanwhile, the all-over crossgrain leather mini lunchbox bags will be available from April 1.

With the brand now making its products in Italy, they are able to introduce different textures and better-quality materials to all of their existing and upcoming designs.

Setting off his inspiration research for Spring Summer 2020, founder and chief designer Jeff Wan wanted to make his trip to Italy about following the path less travelled. Before accepting the Platinum Award from the A’ Design Awards and Competitions for his distinguished Le Morne Lunch Box handbag at the Teatro Sociale on Lake Como last summer, Jeff explored the streets of Milan and Florence, getting lost in the quaint villages and trails that surround Lake Como.

“Keeping speed with the city that never sleeps, this collection was designed for the individual who knows how to prioritize rest and relaxation, but still need to get their to-do list done,” Jeff told us.
